About Us

The Oath Project was founded to change the way business leaders, the academic institutions that prepare them, and the organizations they serve, think about the true responsibilities and reach of management. Using a “Hippocratic oath for business” as a foundation for transformational change, The Oath Project aims to provide the tools necessary to integrate the concepts of professional conduct and social responsibility into the culture, core values, and day-to-day operations of both academic institutions and corporations.

The Oath Project is a unified hub for all of the efforts related to the mission of professionalizing management. Our founding partners include: the UNGC, PRME, the Aspen Institute, the World Economic Forum, leading MBA programs, and Net Impact. We are especially grateful to the Aspen Institute’s Business & Society Program for supporting the Oath Project during its earliest stage and to the Lincoln Center for Ethics in Global Management at the Thunderbird School of Global Management for its early stage support, as well.
